Where I come from
My passion for holistic and integrative health began in my adolescence, inspired by a fascination with nutrition and the global food system's impact on health and the environment. This early interest led me to study holistic nutrition at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and complete a Geography degree at McGill University, where I explored environmentalism, human rights, and social equity. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in the nonprofit sector, supporting initiatives in food security and cultural revitalization, which deepened my understanding of societal inequities and systemic barriers to health.
My personal experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began as a patient seeking relief from migraines and nervous system dysregulation. The transformative care I received inspired me to pursue this path professionally. My approach emphasizes education, empowerment, and the interconnection between physical and emotional well-being. I also integrate my belief in community-based healing and the importance of connection in fostering resilience.
I’m deeply connected to plant-based healing and the natural world, which I nurture through gardening, wild harvesting, and creating recipes with local foods. Food therapy is a cornerstone of my practice, and I plan to continue my studies in Chinese Herbal Medicine to expand the resources I offer to clients.
As a settler of French and Irish ancestry, I am committed to practicing with respect and gratitude on the unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, where I live and work. I strive to blend traditional wisdom with modern practices to create a more holistic, inclusive, and accessible healthcare model that prioritizes prevention, longevity, and equity.
